Spooky Art in the Park Brings Autumn Magic to Hancock Park!
The Dahlonega Arts Alliance’s Spooky Art in the Park transformed Hancock Park into a lively celebration of creativity and fall fun on Saturday, October 5th. With a crisp breeze in the air and colorful leaves swirling around, visitors enjoyed a day filled with art, music, and community spirit.
More than two dozen talented artists filled the park with unique creations — from whimsical paintings and handmade jewelry to pottery, crafts, and more. Local favorites like Adventure Crew, Bird Brainz, Above the Rain, Simply Affinity, Robin’s Wraps & Bowls by Deb, and Mary Jane Capps, Author offered something for every taste and style. Visitors browsed vibrant works by Squirrely Hippie Chick, Brenda Steele Jewelry, Charline Davis, Sprout, Kennedy Creations, Angela Bearden Ceramics, Dulcimer’s House, Daisy Mae Jewelry Co., Creativa Collection, BIRDMAN, Amelia Taylor Art and Design, WiredGemMama, Etowah River Pottery, Vagabond’s Craft, Faithfully Testify, Martin’s Pottery LLC, Swallow Tail Creations, Diane Egan, With Grace Art Studio, Jeffree Lerner, and Stitchintwins — a true showcase of Dahlonega’s thriving arts community.
The entertainment lineup made the day even more enchanting! Dahlonega Belly Dance brought energy and sparkle to the park, while guitarist Judy Linn and flautist Bryan Garris set the mood with melodic performances throughout the day. The Rusty Rooster String Band wrapped up the afternoon with toe-tapping tunes that had everyone smiling.
It was a perfect autumn day to celebrate local talent and creativity in the heart of downtown Dahlonega.
