The Gold Brick Award was established in 2022 to honor members who have gone above and beyond in service to their Dahlonega Arts Alliance community.
Worth their weight in gold, they are the foundation upon which our organization is built.

  • JJ Graziano

    2025 Awardee

    A founding DAA member since 2019, JJ has been a dedicated and enthusiastic presence within the Alliance. Through her creative pursuits in clay sculpture and photography, JJ has continually shared her talents while championing opportunities for members to connect. Her passion for fostering fun, inclusive activities has helped strengthen relationships across our community and enrich the DAA experience for all.

  • Beth Brightwell

    2024 Awardee

    One of the three original founders of Dahlonega Arts Alliance, Beth has served the local arts community for decades. As owner of Old Storehouse Art, she has opened her doors as a home for Dahlonega Arts Alliance and other artists looking for a place to create and form community.

  • Sarah Clark

    2023 Awardee

    A leader within her own belly dance community, Sarah stood out as a volunteer and communicator - telling anyone she could about DAA. As she will tell you, building community is one of her core values.

  • Janet Ericson

    2022 Awardee

    A founding member of the Dahlonega Arts Alliance, Janet Ericson’s impact on the organization has been indelible. No job too big or small, Janet frequently volunteers at Art in the Park and other events as well as on multiple committees.
