DAA Arts & Ales - Saturday, April 11th

On Saturday, April 11th, the creative spirit of Dahlonega was on full display at the DAA Arts & Ales Market hosted at 52 West Brewing. Community members gathered to enjoy an afternoon filled with local art, handcrafted goods, live entertainment, and great company — all paired perfectly with craft brews and springtime energy.

Visitors had the opportunity to shop from a talented lineup of regional artists and makers, including Sara E Pottery, Saffron Fox Jewelry, Simple Solstice Farms, Vagabond's Crafts Quilting, Uncommon Opossum, Leaded Leaf Stained Glass, Glass Yourself Stained Glass, Amelia Taylor Art and Design, and Papa’s Trinkets Wood. From pottery and stained glass to quilting, jewelry, woodworking, and farm-crafted goods, the market offered something special around every corner.

Adding even more excitement to the afternoon was a lively performance by Dahlonega Belly Dance, whose vibrant routines brought energy and celebration to the brewery atmosphere.

One of the highlights of the event was the Arts & Ales Passport Game, which encouraged patrons to visit every vendor booth throughout the market. Guests collected stamps from each participating artist in order to be entered into a drawing for a gift basket filled with donated items from generous contributors and vendors. At the end of the event, one lucky participant — Cree — was announced as the winner. In a perfect bit of timing, it also happened to be her birthday, making the celebration even more memorable.

With beautiful weather, enthusiastic shoppers, talented artists, and a supportive community atmosphere, the DAA Arts & Ales Market was a wonderful success. A great day was truly had by all, and DAA is grateful to everyone who attended, participated, and helped make the event so special.
