There’s nothing quite like Halloween on the Historic Dahlonega Square! Dahlonega Arts Alliance was excited to once again take part in the community’s annual Scares on the Square trick-or-treat celebration, welcoming local families and sharing a little Halloween fun with Dahlonega’s youngest ghosts, goblins, and superheroes.
DAA members Karen Harwood, JJ Graziano and Bart Prato, Pattie and Carl Pirone, Holly Verhasselt, and Anne Marie Elias volunteered their time to pass out candy and treats to the many costumed kiddos making their way around the Square. A special thank-you goes to DAA-er Christine Wood for handcrafting and donating the wonderful treat bags we were able to share with our trick-or-treaters!
Scares on the Square is one of our favorite Dahlonega traditions, and we love being part of the community celebrations that bring neighbors together year after year. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello and share in the Halloween fun. We’re already looking forward to next year!
