DAA Art Pop at Accent Cellars: A Celebration of Art, Wine, and Community

On Sunday, September 7th, the Dahlonega Arts Alliance (DAA) hosted the Art Pop Art Market at Accent Cellars Urban Winery, marking a lively end-of-summer celebration that blended fine art with fine wine. Guests enjoyed a beautiful afternoon browsing unique creations, sipping local pours, and connecting with the creative spirit of the community.

The day began with a special preview event for Accent Cellars Wine Club members, where DAA shared a presentation about its mission and upcoming projects. Wine Club members received early access to the market and an exclusive opportunity to interact with the artists before the general public arrived. This intimate session set the tone for a day filled with art, conversation, and celebration.

Throughout the afternoon, guests participated in a fundraising raffle in support of DAA. Prizes ranged from handcrafted pieces donated by participating artists to gift cards and wine-themed treats. The raffle was a success, raising funds to support local arts initiatives while giving attendees the chance to take home something special.

A highlight of the event was the People’s Choice contest, where Accent Cellars Wine Club members voted for their favorite artist at the market. After ballots were tallied, the winner was announced: Crew Edalgo of Adventure Crew, who proudly received a free market registration for an upcoming DAA event and, of course, bragging rights for the day.
