A Festive Close to the Year: 2025 DAA Holiday Social
On December 11th, the Dahlonega Arts Alliance gathered at Old Storehouse Art Gallery for our annual Holiday Social—an evening filled with celebration, connection, and gratitude as we reflected on a memorable year.
Members and visitors alike enjoyed great food, cheerful conversation, and plenty of holiday spirit. The event also embraced the season of giving, with attendees bringing donations for the Community Helping Place Food Pantry, helping support neighbors in need during the holidays. Adding to the fun, guests participated in prize drawings, bringing laughter and lighthearted excitement throughout the evening.
A highlight of the night came at the close of the celebration with the presentation of the 2025 Gold Brick Award. This honor is given annually to a DAA member who has gone above and beyond in service and support of the organization—and this year’s recipient, JJ Graziano, embodies that spirit wholeheartedly.
A founding DAA member since 2019, JJ has been a dedicated and enthusiastic presence within the Alliance. Through her creative pursuits in clay sculpture and photography—alongside her partner, watercolorist Bart Prato—JJ has continually shared her talents while championing opportunities for members to connect. Her passion for fostering fun, inclusive activities has helped strengthen relationships across our community and enrich the DAA experience for all.
The 2025 Holiday Social was a joyful reminder of what makes the Dahlonega Arts Alliance so special: creativity, generosity, and a strong sense of community. What a wonderful way to cap off the year—we look forward to all that’s ahead in 2026.
